Black Bean Brownies
Fudgy, chewy brownies with chocolate, almonds and loaded with fiber? Hello!
Most people have a sweet tooth. If you don’t - you’re welcome to mine ;)
I am mindful of how often I eat sweets and how they make me feel. When I get a real craving for something sweet or there’s a special occasion coming up, I purposefully find a recipe that is a healthier version with more nutrients, more fiber and less sugar.
It’s how I can feel my best while enjoying a dessert and also feel good about what Cutcheon is eating. He’s got a serious love of chocolate chips right now. And you all know, I believe strongly in having balance.
These brownies are loaded with fiber from black beans, they use coconut sugar and honey as sweeteners and eggs for protein.
If you’ve never tried black bean brownies before…you’re seriously missing out.
This recipe is one of many I put together in my Love Day Dessert Collection.
