2021 Word of the year

Blog - Word of the Year.jpg

A good friend of mine always starts her year with a “Word of the Year” and it’s a concept that I always admired and thought I should do for myself, but nothing ever felt right. Or maybe I didn’t give myself the proper chance to figure out what felt right for me or explore possibilities.

Either way, over the last couple of months i’ve been spending a lot of time thinking about 2021 and what I want to do and what I want to accomplish. I’ve been looking ahead at what this next year is going to bring and there’s only one word that makes sense…

GROWTH.

As I’m writing this, I can feel small kicks of this growing little babe and Cutcheon is sleeping away going through his own growth spurt. I swear every morning he wakes up a little bit taller.

I’ve been in business for over a year now and my passion for nutrition, for helping people like you, continues to grow and build and I’m bursting with new ideas to share. Seriously, SO much good stuff.

Owning your own business while working full time, being a spouse, a mom and still prioritizing yourself is a juggling act every day. But I’m preaching to the choir, right? All of you know how it is to juggle schedules, balance life and still try to be your own person.

My biggest goal with Growing Nutrition is to help simplify nutrition for you. To make nutrition something that can be simple and healthy and delicious, that fits with your life. I never want it to feel like one more thing you have to do. My goal is to help make it positive and empowering.

This goal has fueled a spark inside me that is pushing me in new ways to get these tips and resources out to support you.

Growing healthy families is something we’re all passionate about, I mean, that’s why you’re here right? Whether the support is for your kids, your spouse or for you, it’s worth it. You’re worth it, your family is worth it.

And I promise, it doesn’t need to be hard, complicated, or bland.

If you know me...you know how much I love food. I don’t do boring. Life’s too short not to enjoy food!

If you have questions, ideas or requests - hit me up! I mean it! I am here for you and I am building this community for you. I want to know what would be helpful, what your challenges are, what support you could use, how I could help.

It’s a year of growth for me in all aspects of my life and I’m so excited that you’re here and along for the ride.

2021...we’re coming for ya!
